The King's Ginger heads East Welcome to the very latest instalment of my history serial looking at the life, loves and, well, liqueur of King Edward VII on behalf of The King's Ginger. This month, I took the King on a date to do something a little bit cultural - and what's more cultural than a museum? This one is a bit special though, because when he was still Prince of Wales he opened it with his own fair hands (assuming Victorians did the whole cutting the ribbon thing... don't ruin my imagination), in June 1872, when he was a mere sprightly youngster of 31 years old (coincidentally the same age that I am now!).
Without further ado - to the Bethnal Green Museum... or, as it's now known,...
