Defying Jack Frost and Goals for the New Year
Happy New Year! The frost is on the ground, but October doesn't care if it's bitter cold - she's going to wear this drop-waist mesh dress anyway. A thick pair of tights, a jacket, a scarf and a pair of ankle boots make it warm enough for a winter outing. Even this thin thrifted cloche hat adds to the warmth. October never really thought about wearing straw hats in January, but since it was dark and matched the tights, she gave it a try. Nothing like exploring the New Year with a little roaring twenties flair!
October is grateful for kind friends who knit. A kind, elderly friend gave her this rusty-colored scarf a few years ago, and it has become a fixture...
