Winter Solstice
And just like that winter knocks at our door and walks right in, chilly draft and all. Winter is my second favorite season (right behind fall) and always marks a magical time of year. During the winter months in Phoenix the sun always rises and sets with the most beautiful light, and the chilly bouts that come through make me realize that hanging out during the 115 degree weather was totally worth it for these beautifully, icy days. Phoenix in the winter really is quite gorgeous, and around this time of year I'm extra thankful to call the Valley my home. I still can hardly believe that Christmas is almost here! Tomorrow Scott and I are attending our second Christmas...
