The Mom Outfit
Over the weekend, the kids and I went to lunch with Santa. This is about the 3rd or 4th time we’ve seen the guy this month…I’m glad that Julia has yet to ponder about his magical powers.
When an active day with the kids is planned, I need an outfit that is going to work with me. A printed scarf adds a little color to the blues. Sometimes it doubles as a blanket or snot catcher…it also works well for make-shift peek-a-boo games. Red lips help keep the focus away from the bags under my eyes. And a few basic pieces of jewelry make me feel a little more polished.
