Black and Purple
Tulle coat, Gap sweater, Steve Madden boots, Thrifted skirt, My So Called Vintage necklace c/o (similar) As a girl, purple was my favorite color. I asked for everything in purple, and my Barbies were always in purple clothes - they had absolutely no say in the matter. Then came middle school, and puberty sent me into an awkward phase where I convinced myself I liked black more than purple. Barbie moved to the garage, Korn replaced Spice Girls, and I began outlining my lips with dark lipliner - because drawing a circle around your braces is always a good idea. Thankfully that phase was short-lived and I settled somewhere in the middle, just like this outfit.
