Rats!
I have a pretty narrow and conventional taste in art, and therefore am not a big fan of postmodern and conceptual art. I did watch Bravo’s Work of Art but mostly to laugh at the ridiculous pretention. Which brings me to this week’s Style Imitating Art inspiration, Bansky’s “Roller Rat”. I like the piece, but I didn’t know the dot painting underneath was an original piece by Damien Hirst, and only when I read Jess’ post that I remembered where I’ve read that name before – the same place I got most of my random knowledge from, of course, Cracked.com.
