It Don't Mean A Thing...If It Ain't Got That Swing
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of seeing The Hot Sardines perform on a platform in a subway in NYC. It was all a planned event to correlate with riding in a vintage train (1931 in this case). The New York City train system has this annual event once a year in the month of December on Sunday's where you can ride a vintage train and on one of these Sunday's in December the New York swing bands come out. So, I made it a point to be there. I'm so glad I did. I felt the energy and spirit of the band and the people around.
