Movie of the Week: Seven Psychopaths (2012)
Seven Psychopaths is written by Martin McDonagh... and let me tell you... he also wrote the play, Pillowman. When I first heard this correlation I was somewhat put off because Pillowman is one of the most twisted and terrifying plays I've ever read, and designed. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through something as intense as Pillowman, again. This story, however, is so cleverly twisted around every possible corner that one would think it would've had to have been a play first.
