the 1960′s found ladies wearing…
feminine dresses- these still ruled, although more pencil skirts and separates outfits appeared
statement necklaces
plaids, bright colors, and big prints
color blocking
tights and shifts
shorter hems {toward the end of the decade}
this is the first decade i think styles truly began to repeat. trends big in the fifties were still popular, like feminine dresses and pencil skirts. shifts were back {1920′s}, brighter colors and prints as well as mixed prints popped up once again {1930′s}, and peplums, wrapping, and ruching made an appearance {1940′s}.
