chestnuts.
As autumn comes around and the leaves fall and turn into sweet-smelling mulch, I'm reminded of my childhood years spent in North Vancouver. I only lived there for four years, but they were very formative and I spent most of them in our backyard woods. Fall will forever remind me of those woods; collecting chestnuts, going on Brownie outings, star gazing and snail hunting.
