holiday musing.
In an attempt to lessen our involvement in corporate profit, Jb and I have chosen to do our holiday shopping at local shops, craft fairs and/or buying second hand. Unfortunately neither of us are crafty enough to make our own gifts... unless macaroni portraits or finger paintings make good presents? No? Well in any case, it's actually made holiday shopping a lot more enjoyable. Getting the opportunity to check out some of our favorite local shops along Main Street (like Barefoot Contessa, Front & Co. and The Hach) was so much better than braving the malls or big box stores. However most of them were still packed with shoppers! It was also nice to have some quality...
