a timeless capsule wardrobe
remixing is something i didn’t consciously do before this year.
i’ve always liked wearing new combinations, but that used to be achieved solely through new items making their way into my closet. before troy and i got married, i bought a lot more than i do now- yay for marriage accountability! but after i became mrs. skidmore, i was still combing thrift stores and buying new items every month to freshen up my look.
the problem was, i bought without knowing what my style was and with no thought as to how those pieces would work with the rest of my wardrobe.
as a result, so many things sit in my closet, unworn- and if there was ever a time to wear them it...
