Socks and Slippers

I'm not sure I love the idea of socks with ballet slippers/flats, but it's so necessary when the weather drops! I tried to make it look more purposeful by wearing some fun metallic stripe socks with my flats. Do you just wear boots or do you wear socks with your flats?
