Trying Out - Tonal Flow

Outfit Details: thrifted beige linen skirt, Glassons white shirt, thrifted tan braided belt, House of Fraser nude wedges I had never heard of 'Tonal Colour Flow' before reading Wardrobe Flair's wotzon blog post, but hey it works! Basically they advise that wearing tops and bottoms in the same tonal range can make you look slimmer, as opposed to say black pants and a bright top (see here and here), which often cuts people off and draws the eye to parts they want to hide. Here's my inspiration picture for Tuesday - not sure about those boots (..??) but loving the rest of her look. My belt is a little too bling for a long necklace, but the earings seemed to balance it...
