Thanksgiving Recaps
Oh this four day weekend was just what I needed. Any and all flat surfaces covered with food, autumn leaves and feathers hung as decorations across every room, and plenty of laughter and lots of hugs. That kind of rest does a body good. But now it's back to the grind! But before I went to bed yesterday and started to feel those first pangs of the Monday blues, I made myself close my eyes and list all the things I was currently thankful for. My mom's smile when we gave her flowers, burnt orange table cloths, my brother's giggly laugh, the feel of Marc's arm around my shoulder, the smell of nutmeg, the way my family criss-crossed against each other on the couch...
