All my life, I've always swung between being an extreme tomboy or being a complete girly-girl. I was applying mascara and Lip Smackers lip gloss under my desk in Grade 3, then in Grade 4 I went through this weird phase when I dressed like a particularly schlumpy version of Vanilla Ice. It's really only been in the past two years that I've found a happy medium between the two - I've accepted that while I'll never be one of those girls who will be perfectly coiffed, manicured and done-up, I'll also always have a soft spot...
