OOTD 11.16.2012 :: In Theory
If Phase I of building my closet was about stocking up on high-quality pieces, then Phase II is about refining what I have down to the most flattering pieces. This Theory dress helped me pull off the nearly impossible — define my waist without over-emphasizing my hips. Having an hourglass figure is a lot of fun! But sometimes the items that “should” work on me don’t.
This dress still isn’t quite perfect — the skirt is about 2 inches shorter than my ideal and the silk is so slippery that the buttons tend to move and slip. But overall it’s a lovely piece that was just right for a client presentation I gave late last week. Theory...
