news flash: jury duty is boring
Did my jury duty session yesterday. I went in at 9 and left at 4 and did just about absolutely nothing the entire time. At the end of the day, I was told that my whopping $6 check would be in the mail. At least I had a good book to keep me company. There was also a guy who looked a lot like Eric Idle, and I kept waiting for him to start whistling "The Bright Side of Life," but no such luck. I hope Not Eric Idle knows that he thoroughly disappointed me.BUT, the day before jury duty, I did get to meet Christopher Yost and Ryan Stegman, the author and artist of the new Scarlet Spider comic series.
