Preparing to Dress to Ingest
As much as I’d sometimes like to wish my holiday social
calendar resembled that of one of the fictional socialites-to-be from Gossip
Girl or SATC’s Carrie Bradshaw, let’s face it, what real life person has the
time (or bank account) to be that glammed
out all the time (OK, Tinsley Mortimer, Olivia Palermo, I am not looking at
yous)?
Granted I’m a gal that likes an excuse to dress up, but
honestly my daily persona is more beer bar than ultra lounge (don’t ever say “party
dress” to me, because I have none). I’d rather get $1 tacos than be white-gloved
with silver platters, if you know what I mean. My fam and my friends are a
