Personal Purchases
I went to my local drugstore to purchase (ahem) a personal item. I picked it up and grabbed a bag of chips as well, mostly to hide the previous selection as I made my way to the register. At the register, I was rung up for my items and was about to swipe my card when the cashier noticed a sign for $1 off coupon on my personal item. She couldn't find the advertised coupon on the package, however. I was about to tell her to forget about it when she called loudly to her (male) manager, waving my item. He came right over to inspect the package and said someone had taken the attached coupon, but he would go get another package. Meanwhile, two people lined up behind me...
