some more vintage stripes
vintage dress, joanne mercer wedgesThis is from a few days ago, when I wore this 1940's candy cane stripe dress to a local vintage shop. I've had this dress for a few years and still love it. The cotton has just gone beyond that point of delicious softness and is now tearing like tissue paper, so this might have to become a pattern quicker than my coral-pink-big-white-buttons dress. The style is perfect for summer! I got a great vintage party dress and a 1960's swimsuit at the shop, which is unusual for me; I hardly ever buy things from real life shops these days. Maybe this dress is lucky!
