As Halloween gets closer I continue to check off my bucket list of October things to do. Today I made caramel apples. For years I have attempted to make caramel apples with homemade caramel and it has never worked. Mostly it has turned into a huge, gloppy, caramelly mess. One of my favorite friends offered to teach me how to do it properly today and guess what...it worked!! Look at those lovely apples, and they tasted pretty awesome too.
