And the thunder rolls
About ten minutes before my alarm went off this morning I awoke to the strangest sound. It was a rumbling sound and then there was this bright flashing light and more rumbling. Yes folks, for the first time in months we had ourselves a thunderstorm. I don't remember the last time we had a thunderstorm, I think it was maybe in July. And now we're getting some much needed rain too, so that's a good thing. I will accept being woken up before my alarm by a few minutes if this rain will help with the drought and make things better for the allergy sufferers (such as the Pants Monkey). The Pants Monkey helped dress me today! No joke! I had a different outfit in mind...
