Madama Butterfly
I went to see my favorite opera last night, Madama Butterfly. Astin had never seen it before, so it was a treat for her too. I'm going to admit it... I cried. I get shivers every time I see it. I don't know why it's my favorite, it just is so sad. I had been planning to wear something different, but Sydney's weather did a nose dive to under 20 degrees again (*sigh*) and threw buckets of water and wind at us so I went for this 50s knit dress. It's so cosy. Simple patent accessories and a peplum jacket finished the look off, as did my amazing art deco diamond and onyx pendant. Swoon. Oh, and sorry for the quality of the photos...
