This time last year Newcastle and Yorkshire were covered in a thick layer of snow and had been for around 3 weeks. This year we have had not so much as a flake of snow yet!! We've got so used to having snow in December over the last few years that it doesn't feel right now it's not snowing, although before the last few years we hardly ever got snow in early December! But we've had a lot of very cold weather and below freezing temperatures which has resulted in hard frosts, particularly last night. I was woken this morning by my mum and Ben insisting that I go for a walk with them because it was sunny and frosty and I could get some good photos. I ended up annoying them...
