sweater: j. crew jeans: daughters of the revolution, from anthropologie bag: vintage belt: vintage shoes: courtesy of lulu's our backyard is really falling apart right now - disappointing, since we spent a big chunk of the summer clearing out the beds that lined the fence, power washing the wood and brick, and trying to coax blades of grass out of the bare soil patches that covered most of the yard. most of the area is heavily shaded and the grass didn't come in very well; despite watering all summer, it's basically a huge dust bowl now. we're trying to figure out what we can do with the space next year. i'd love to grow vegetables or even some kind of flowering plant...
