I recently started watching The Newsroom and I enjoy it. It's good TV. Not as good as Homeland mind you and that Maggie character quickly jumps from charming to annoying but, still, I watch. The story lines are good and the cast strong. But there is another, rather more shallow reason for tuning in. I mainly watch because of one of the props that features prominently on the neck of Emily Mortimer. Yes *hangs head* I am obsessed by a necklace. This 5 disc number has me fixated. An even sadder fact that I really shouldn't reveal (but will) is that it reminds me of something Janine from Eastenders wore circa 2009 - a beautiful disc necklace that shone under the studio...
