first grade means business
Hello my friends!!
I'm sorry for being away for so long.
I don't have much of an excuse except being caught up in everyday craziness.
After my son started first grade he's been bringing home an overwhelming amount of homework. Reading assignments, vocabulary quizzes, show and tell (they get evaluated for poise, content etc), math and much much more. I sit down with my boy everyday for 1-2 hours in the afternoon trying to get a dent in his homework. At the end of each assignment there is a section where both the student and parent sign their names. Yes, it's pretty much like a contract.
