One problem I often have when I'm thrifting is that most vintage things I find are too small for me. That, however, doesn't stop me from buying it if I like it a lot and I can figure out a way to make it work. Today I was lucky to find this vintage belt, however it was too small for me, I tried sucking in my gut but still no luck, after much thought my creative light bulb went on and I got an idea on how to make this pretty belt fit me. Here is the before...oh so tight. First I took the loop off. Then I got some canvas fabric I had around, measured and cut it to the width of the belt. I ironed fusible interface to the canvas fabric for extra sturdiness. Here it is...
