I love Laura Ashley's dresses, they are good refashioning material and LA knows how to pick quality fabric and nice prints. This is the third Laura Ashley dress I've refashioned (see here and here). I picked up this dress at the thrift store for .25 cents, great deal! I almost left it behind, I'm so glad I didn't, the fabric is black corduroy. For this refashion I took off the shoulder pads, took in on the sides, sleeves and shoulders, I shortened the length and made the sleeves 3/4. I love the new dress, it looks like a 50's dress. I wore it today for our Thanksgiving dinner. It fit just right so there was no room for to me indulge in gluttony which is a good thing,...
