Subdued Pink
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Egon Schiele’s “Portrait of the Painter Anton Peschka”. I knew I was going to wear this jacket (the shade of pink is perfect), but for the bottom, I had at least two different choices to pick from – these plaid pants or my brown checked midi skirt. In the end, I went with these pants because I feel the gray color and its texture are closer to those in the painting. I also added my amber brooch as a nod to the orange plants/flowers at the bottom of the painting. It’s a bit different from my usual, but I like it.
