SIA Inspiration: Egon Schiele 2.0
Welcome to another week of SIA! It’s my turn to host, and here is my artwork of choice:
This is “ Portrait of the Painter Anton Peschka “, a 1909 painting by Egon Schiele. We’ve featured Schiele on SIA once before, but since it was Valentine’s Day last Friday and the weather is warming up, I feel like some pink and some lighter colors would be in order, and the muted palette of this portrait just hits the spot.
