Diamond Dust Shoes
This week’s SIA, inspired by Andy Warhol’s “Diamond Dust Shoes” series of prints, is a bit of a challenge for me, since short of having a shoe-printed item, I had no idea how I would translate those photos into an outfit. In the end, I decided to go the color-blocked route and built the outfit around this black top – you can’t see it in the photos, but it actually has subtle sparkles all over it just like in the prints (except those were created with real diamonds!)
