Emerging from the fog in this new week to say hi, how are you? That weekend I was so looking forward to was a total non-starter! The 13 mile training run was a DNS for me. I started to feel quite ropey with a sore throat and cough on Saturday afternoon seemingly out of the blue. What followed was a flu-like cold bug with fever, chills and body aches like I’ve never known. Honestly, I’ve had better 48 hour spells! Worked from home the last two days but thankfully Monday was quiet as I spent most of it on the sofa with a banging headache, alternating between sweating and teeth-chattering chills.
