One Last Hurrah
One good thing about putting your stuff in storage to prepare for a house renovation is that it forces you to have a closet cleanout. I’ve said goodbye to several pieces that don’t fit me anymore but I was still holding on for sentimental reasons, and several other pieces that were on their last legs – this pair of oxfords being one of them (they may look OK from the front, but the backs are absolutely shot to pieces.) I’ve had them for nearly 10 years, and they have been my go-to, the perfect “workhorse” shoes that go with so many different outfits and styles. Minimalist? Check. Vintage? Check. Dark academia? Check....
