houndstooth
when i pulled on this silly houndstooth dress for the first time, i immediately found myself singing the brady bunch theme song in my head. isn’t it so perfectly ’70s kitsch? not sure how much it comes across on my blog, but lately i’ve been obsessed with everything late ’60s/early ’70s. so of course, this dress immediately jumped out at me… despite the fact that it is houndstooth. a little known fact about me is that i went to culinary school and am a certified pastry chef. many moons ago, i worked in bakeries decorating cakes and making sweet little tarts and eclairs and things. but i also had to wear these really awful houndstooth...
