On Saturday, while celebrating Fatiha's birthday, we made plans to go apple picking the next day. But just as we were ready to head out on Sunday afternoon, it began intermittently storming. Add to that the fact that most farms we found declared that due to our warmer-than-normal spring and summer, the apple picking season ended early, and it looked like our apple picking aspirations were going nowhere fast.
So instead we decided to meet at an artsy cafe where each group of diners gets its own small cave to sit in, and had lunch and apple...
