Fancy Couples
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Maude Eggemeyer’s watercolor prints. I wanted something to reflect both the colors and the feminine/masculine touches of the couples’ outfits, but it’s difficult. While I have plenty of brown masculine pieces, I don’t have a lot of blue flouncy pieces that can reflect the ladies’ dresses. In the end, I decided to flip it around – my brown piece (this skirt) would be the feminine one, and the blue piece (the striped button-up) is the masculine one.
