Composition In Oval
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Piet Mondrian ‘s “Composition in Oval with Color Planes”. When I first saw this painting, I knew I’d wear this skirt – the plaid is the perfect representation of all the “color planes”. The top took me a little longer, but then I remembered this linen button-up with the subtle gray stripes, which I thought could represent the lines in the painting (as would my strappy clogs). And, happy accident – there’s a lace oval on the shirt too!
