“What’s A Place Like Me Doing In A Girl Like This?”
So you may recognize the quote in the title from The Mummy . What does that have to do with this outfit, you ask? Allow me to explain… This outfit was originally inspired by Evelyn’s library look , see, with the white shirt, tan skirt, and black necktie. But when I put it together, it didn’t look quite right, because my tie is too long and my skirt isn’t long enough. So, because Evelyn is a librarian, I decided to switch the dark tie for my bookshelf tie, which changed the look entirely. But the shorter tie works better, and it feels more “me” anyway, so I’m happy with it.
