Happy August! July flew by, the children broke up from school two and three weeks ago respectively (F was a week earlier than E) and they've already had a week away in Tunisia with their Dad. I had promised F earlier in the year that I'd repaint his room whilst they were away - it dawned on me a few days before they were due to leave that the time had come... I had no paint, no plan, no time off work booked but by hook or by crook I was going to get it done! Emptying, cleaning, painting and glossing his room coincided with the hottest week of the year we've seen in the south of the UK so far... brilliant!
