I celebrated my birthday the best possible way. I went on trip! I took Tren Maya to get to Izamal, which also known as city of three cultures and is one of the pueblos magicos (magic towns) of Mexico.Izamal (or Zamna/Itzamna as it was called before) meas dew that falls from the heavens in maya. It is famous for its yellow houses, beautiful monastery with second biggest open atrium in the world built on top of the ruins of ancient Maya pyramid, several surviving piramids and archeological cites incorporated into the cityscape.
