The Great Pumpkin
I had so much fun with my all-maroon outfit for Valentine’s last week that I decided to put together a bunch of monochromatic looks for this week too. This one is all in burnt orange, of course. At first, I was a little annoyed that my sweater doesn’t match my blazer exactly, but now I see it as adding more shades and textures to the outfit, making it more interesting. Despite the post title, I didn’t want to be walking around like a giant pumpkin :)) My “seasonal color” brain still tells me it’s weird to wear burnt orange in the spring, but considering most of my cold-weather wardrobe consists of brown and orange anyway, so...
