Bohemian Like You
I’ve mentioned that when it comes to Victorian/Edwardian menswear-inspired outfits, I tend to default to two modes – dandy or tramp. This is definitely more on the “tramp” side, but at least I can pretend I’m one of those Bohemian/Communist/artist types in an Evelyn Waugh or W. Somerset Maugham novel. Or perhaps an Agatha Christie novel, to be less pretentious, and also because I think the characters in Waugh or Maugham’s books are generally too depressed to ever wear something as colorful as this. In keeping with that impression, I added a fountain pen brooch to my lapel, though it’s so small you can hardly see it.
