From blog 14 Shades Of Grey
Desperate Romantic
I just realized that, when it comes to my Victorian menswear-inspired outfits (please ignore the fact that my title refers to the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, which is more Edwardian than Victorian), I seem to have only two settings – dandy and tramp. This is definitely on the “dandy” end of the spectrum, with a bit of Teddy boys/girls thrown in too, because I’m not wearing a tie but a brooch. I thought the plaid of the blazer, the texture of the vest, and the plaid of the trousers together would be too much, but in practice, they look OK, don’t they?
