Hello! In this post, we'll mix Croatian poetry with travelling. Isn't poetry a way of travelling into our soul anyway? So, we might as well do some soul travel with real one? Today I will not only review one of Vesna Parun's poems, I will also translate it to English, so that you all can enjoy it. I've translated Vesna Parun's poetry on my blog before and I will do it again in the future. Not that Vesna's poems haven't been translated in English. There is at least one edition that I know of containing her selected poems. However, since I've actually studied translation and literature, why not give it a go myself? Zdravo!
