Shift and Roll
It's a matter of hours now until we set sail on our fifth and final trip to France of 2023. I am trying not to think about the marathon element of this visit given that I am woefully undertrained but instead focus on some quality time with my sister. We've not been at the house together since mid-summer 2022 and it's technically her fault that we signed up to Deauville as she was there this time last year and went along to watch... I've some bulbs to plant in a bed I dug out last month and other than a wine and cheese pairing night (and a 26.2 mile run) plans are low key to non-existent. I've not packed, not even checked the weather forecast as yet, work is too...
