Bom dia from Funchal! Well, actually, it’s more like Boa noite as it’s evening now. We’ve been back in Funchal a couple of days and it’s lovely to feel the warmth and see the ocean. The journey wasn’t exactly straightforward; first we got caught up in a crowd of protestors on the tram to Manchester airport. Then the flight was delayed because of the bad weather.
