I recently watched Belfast (I’m terribly behind on all the current movies and TV shows. There’s so much stuff to watch, yet when I sit down to watch something, I’d only watch my old shows again for the umpteenth time.) Other than the story, I also love the 1960s costume of Caitriona Balfe’s character – it’s nothing glamorous like in Mad Men , but very practical and wearable while still looking very chic. I guess I must have been influenced by that when I put this outfit together. This top always strikes me as vaguely 1960s anyway (it’s the fold-down collar), and it goes unexpectedly well with these corduroy pants. A...
