It’s been a very busy week for me, and the weather refused to make up its mind – it’s rainy one day, then blazing hot the next – so I’ve been feeling rather uninspired when it came to outfits. Here is something very simple (I couldn’t even bother with a brooch), but I wanted to show it off anyway because it has that vague 1940s silhouette that I like but can be difficult to achieve with summer clothes. It’s so easy with winter clothes, the blazers and cardigans and wool pants, but when it’s warm, this is the best I can do (and I’m pretty sure I’ve worn something very similar to this before. Ah well.)
